Sara Beattie, a Hong Kong based entreneupreneur, has contributed to the business community since July 1964. Just months after her arrival in Hong Kong, she pioneered a Secretarial Service and Business Centres in hotels for travelling business and regional offices in China; later developing the successful employment agency industry in Hong Kong. In 1974 she purchased a small finishing school and turned that into a major education centre for young ladies who entered the workforce as Executive Secretaries in prestigious companies, again pioneering the training of many young people migrating to Canada and other countries throughout the 80s and 90s. After several years of success in Corporate Training in China, during the recession of the late 90s, Sara expanded operations to India, Malaysia and China. The Sara Beattie College has long supported a string of charities and it is not surprising that Sara Beattie is now committing her personal resources and the talents, time and commitment of the management, teachers, staff and students in the Group to the 4 countries in the Foundation, Sight for Children. |
